Jaryd Lane burst onto the South Louisiana music scene in 2005 as a proficient singer and songwriter with his debut album, the Country Boy Sessions. This release lead to his first local hit, “Country Boy Blues”, which Jaryd received countless hours of regional radio air-play and finished #8 on 99.1 KXKC’s Top 100 songs in 2006. Through the curse of eight years following that release, Jaryd’s path has taken him down numerous musical avenues. As an accomplished writer, Jaryd has written with some of the best in the industry. Tony Stampley, Byron Hill, Casey Beathard, Jeff Bates, Flip Anderson, Doug Johnson, Rick Huckaby, Paul Nelson and Jim McCormick are just a handful of writers he has had the privilege of collaborating with. As a performer, and because of his country/southern rock style, Jaryd Lane has provided support (opening act) for bands and artist such as Darius Rucker, Candlebox, Clint Black, Aaron Lewis, Colt Ford, Bad Company, Tracy Lawrence, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Travis Tritt…and the list goes on. Jaryd was also signed to Tracy Lawrence’s Rocky Comfort Records, but that label never “took flight”, so Jaryd regrouped and never looked back. With his sixth (6th) album entitled “1978” released in December 2013, 2014 was an incredible year for Jaryd and his band, The Parish. They provided support (opening act) for Aaron Lewis, Mark Chestnut, Tracy Lawrence, Thompson Square and Justin Moore. They also headlined for “Trucks Gone Wild” for an estimated 14,000 people. Jaryd and his band also played at the 57th Annual JazzFest in New Orleans, LA. Also in NewOrleans, Jaryd sang the National Anthem at the Saints vs. Ravens game back in August 2014. So far in 2015, Jaryd Lane and his band opened once again for Aaron Lewis. In addition to various regional festivals, Jaryd Lane & The Parish were one of only two acts ever asked to return to the Fan Fest stage at Bayou Country SuperFest in Baton Rouge. Jaryd also recently opened for Big Machine label artist, Brantley Gilbert and will be opening for Neal McCoy in August of this year as well. With his distinct, soulful, country voice and his southern rock edge, Jaryd Lane will no doubt be an incredible addition to your line-up of regular artist or as an opener/headliner for your event.see
