NASH REVIVAL is an indie Country and Christian project anchored by lyricist Matt Soileau partnering with a collective of vocalists. Nash Revival won the 21st Annual CMT/NSAI contest for their love duet “I Do.” A few weeks later they won a SongU contest for the Christian songs So Help Me God and My Name Is Lazarus. Matt grew up in Oakdale, Louisiana and now lives in Spring, Texas with his wife and three kids.
Matt had an "accidental" mid-life crisis when one of his physical therapy patients introduced him to songwriting. He has been motivated toward the goal of landing cuts with established artists ever since. He really believes it was not accidental but that God led him to this since he feels so at home writing. He hopes to make his passion a full-time career at some point and commute to Nashville for writes.
Our latest release, Cowboys Don't Quit, has just been added to local radio rotations in Texas. This song joins our 4 song BAREFOOT EP of beach country and romantic ballad Mighty Fine in garnering radio air play along with several of our Christian songs. In addition to the contest wins listed above, Lonesome With Whiskey, Barefoot, When It Rains I Pour, and Beggar were finalists in well-known, international song contests among thousands of entrants. Nash Revival can be found on all streaming services and YouTube.
